Day 1: Your Experience Matters
Whether you’ve been leading a full team for years or ‘only’ influencing the fundraising of the PTO, your experience is preparing you for the next step. In Day 1 of the Lead with Confidence Challenge you’ll learn to appreciate and build off of the skills you’ve developed through your experience to date. Don’t let people belittle what you’ve done, learn to leverage your skills to propel you forward.
Day 2: What to Say to Get Results
Communication is the #1 responsibility of a leader. In Day 2 of the Lead with Confidence Challenge you will learn to listen between the lines and communicate so that they want to follow you. You can inspire people to take action without badgering or nagging by speaking specifically to what they want. Learn what to listen for to develop the perfect communication that speaks to them.
Day 3: Lead at All Levels
Leading and Influencing doesn’t just apply with people who report to you. Whether you need a peer to implement your solution, your team to take action, or your boss to follow your lead, influencing those decision makers is critical to your success. That is why you’ll round out Day 3 of the Lead with Confidence Challenge by learning to leverage your experience, skills, and communication to lead your peers, boss, and even executives to your way of thinking. It’s not about telling them what to do but selling them on why your perspective is the one to follow.
